Office 365 Personal entitles you to all of the apps and services listed below for $48.99 per year. Also, you are no longer locked in to a single version that becomes out of date a subscription entitles you to all of the latest Microsoft releases. You can now access Office from all of your devices, you are no longer limited to 1 device. The subscription options, new in 2019, offer several advantages over Microsoft's old perpetual program. HUP is not available to students, who are entitled to use Office 365 for free. Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP)įor a discount of the retail price, Microsoft offers enrollment in the Software Assurance Home Use Program (HUP) to University faculty and staff. More information is availabe on the Office 365 Pro Plus page. This license is available as long as you are an active employee at the University. These applications are the same versions as boxed software available for purchase in stores. Most faculty and staff are eligible to download, install, and use Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus applications on up to 5 personal desktop and laptop computers, free of charge.
